Did you know, as a general rule, that increasing the temperature of a chemical reaction 18°F (10°C) effectively doubles the rate of that reaction.
In more practical terms, if you are cleaning at 150° F and it takes an hour to complete a wash, raising the temperature of the solution to 168° could shorten the cleaning time to 30 minutes. Raising that temperature to 186° could shorten it further downward to 15 minutes.
If time is money, this simple increase in productivity will allow for more washing in less time, thereby increasing revenues!
Remember, it is a GENERAL rule, not an absolute one, and other factors besides temperature could come into play so it may not always work as predicted.
